چکیده
Abstract Objective: investigation of the microshear bond strength between lithium disilicate with preheated viscous composite, flowable composite and resin cement by comparison their strength. Material method: forty five samples were prepared divided into three groups; group, group group. Materials injected custom made plastic transparent molds (2 mm height, 2 diameter) on surface discs that previously treated ceramic etchant (hydrofluoric acid 4.5%) primer (silane coupling agent). Then, Microshear test was performed to universal testing machine. Results tabulated statistically analyzed for each Results: highest recorded followed cement. Conclusions: is an excellent material in cementation restorations. Keywords: Lithium disilicate; Preheated composite;

متن کاملThe Effect of Lithium Disilicate Ceramic Thickness and Translucency on Shear Bond Strength of Light-cured Resin Cement
Introduction: To achieve acceptable clinical performance, a ceramic veneer must be bonded to enamel by well-polymerized resin cement. Among different factors, thickness and translucency of the ceramic may affect the resin cement polymerization. Thus, the current study evaluated the effect of the thickness and translucency of lithium disilicate ceramic on light-cured resin cement bond strength t...
متن کاملEffect of surface pretreatments on the microtensile bond strength of lithium-disilicate ceramic repaired with composite resin.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of ceramic surface treatments and silane drying temperature on the microtensile bond strength (µTBS) of a resin composite to a lithium disilicate ceramic. Twenty blocks (7x7x5 mm) of lithium disilicate-based hot-pressed ceramic were fabricated and randomly divided into 4 groups: G1: acid etching with 9.5% hydrofluoric acid for 20 s and drying ...
